Abu Dhabi Investment Authority
Invests globally on behalf of Abu Dhabi through sovereign wealth management for diversified long-horizon portfolio growth.
Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) is a sovereign wealth fund established in 1976 to invest the Emirate's oil revenues. It manages approximately USD 1.128 trillion across 24+ asset classes including equities, fixed income, private equity, real estate, infrastructure, and hedge funds. Roughly 70-80% of assets are deployed via external managers, making ADIA a downstream limited partner rather than an upstream funder. ADIA does not operate any grant programs, scholarships, fellowships, or non-repayable funding instruments. Its mandate, governance, and operating units are exclusively investment-focused.
