Funds Agenzia delle Entrate in Italy, using agenziaentrate.gov.it to run public innovation-facing program paths.
Agenzia delle Entrate is Italy's national tax administration authority, operating under the Ministero dell'Economia e delle Finanze (MEF). It processes tax declarations (modelli 730, Redditi), payments and refunds, and maintains the property registry (catasto). It is the Italian equivalent of the US IRS or UK HMRC.
The agency administers tax incentives such as Transizione 4.0 credito d'imposta, Patent Box, ZES/ZLS investment credits, and various optional tax regimes — but all of these are claimed through the tax-filing system, not awarded competitively. Italian competitive grants are administered by MIMIT, MUR, Invitalia, GSE, and regional bodies, not by Agenzia delle Entrate.
