FPS Finance (Service Public Fédéral Finances / Federale Overheidsdienst Financiën) is Belgium's federal tax authority — equivalent to the US IRS or UK HMRC. It does NOT award grants. All enterprise-facing instruments (R&D withholding tax exemption, innovation income deduction, investment deduction, R&D tax credit/deduction, audiovisual tax shelter) are statutory tax mechanisms claimed through the corporate income tax return.
