Industriens Fond is Denmark's private industrial foundation, based in Copenhagen and structured to strengthen the Danish business sector. Founded in 1898 and redirected into philanthropy in 2009 after the sale of its mortgage business, it distributes about DKK 250 million a year from a roughly DKK 5 billion endowment.

Its grants support applied work in sustainable production, cybersecurity, new technologies, internationalization, and entrepreneurship. Its grant line includes a main programme and another named route reaching DKK 2.145 million, but the foundation does not fund individual companies directly. It backs consortia led by universities, GTS institutes, and trade associations, with projects designed to produce reusable knowledge for Danish firms rather than private benefit for a single recipient.

That model makes Industriens Fond a strong fit for organisations that can turn industrial know-how into shared tools, evidence, or methods. Results must be disseminated and scalable, and the fund's public project examples show the emphasis clearly: AI capability, cyber resilience, remanufacturing, market access, and other topics that lift competitiveness across the wider Danish economy.
