Narodni rozvojova banka, the National Development Bank, is the Czech Republic's 100% state-owned development bank. Founded in 1992 as CMZRB and renamed NRB in 2021, it is jointly represented by the ministries of industry and trade, regional development, and finance. The bank exists to finance enterprise investment, public infrastructure, and economic modernization, and it has supported more than 114,000 projects worth CZK 477 billion over its lifetime.

NRB works through loans, guarantees, and equity vehicles rather than grants. The active products in this batch are Expansion Loans up to CZK 45 million, Transformation Loans up to CZK 100 million, ENERG up to CZK 60 million, and S-Enterprise plus up to CZK 25 million. The attached sectors are energy and manufacturing, which matches the bank's emphasis on productive investment and public-purpose infrastructure.

It is the right channel when a project needs patient state-backed finance instead of competitive grant capital. SMEs, municipalities, and infrastructure sponsors fit best when they can service debt, show a clear investment case, and work through a lender-style diligence process.
