Plug and Play Tech Center is a US corporate innovation platform and accelerator founded in 2006 by Saeed Amidi and headquartered in Sunnyvale, California. It works with corporations, governments, startups, investors, universities, and mentors across 60+ locations and 27 verticals.

Its accelerator programs are typically three months long and are described as having no equity requirement for participation. The platform says it runs more than 800 events a year, and its venture arm invests case by case, typically from $25,000 to $500,000, with roughly 85% of checks at seed stage.

The model is partnership-led. Programs such as NJ AI Hub, NJ FAST, accelerateAZ, and Cassini are delivered with public or corporate partners, so any cash component belongs to the partner body rather than to Plug and Play itself. That leaves Plug and Play as an operating partner and investor platform, not a standalone grantmaker. Its economics depend on partner sponsorship and service delivery.
