Stanford Medicine Catalyst
Supports Stanford healthcare innovation through incubating translational ideas from clinicians and researchers into patient-focused pilots.
Stanford Medicine Catalyst is Stanford Medicine's flagship innovation program — a joint initiative of Stanford School of Medicine, Stanford Health Care, and Stanford Children's Health (Lucile Packard). It funds and incubates early-stage healthcare innovations developed by Stanford-affiliated scientists, clinicians, staff, and students. The program provides capital (up to $1 million per award), program management, validation resources, regulatory and IP guidance, and investor exposure. Focus areas span diagnostics, devices, therapeutics, digital/computational health, and AI/ML clinical tools. Eligibility is strictly restricted to Stanford-affiliated individuals; this program does not accept external applicants.
