US Marine Corps Systems Command
Runs United States Marine Corps systems acquisition and connects industry partners to defense equipment development and field requirements.
US Marine Corps Systems Command, or MARCORSYSCOM, is the Marine Corps acquisition command. It is based in Quantico, Virginia, with teams also working in Camp Pendleton, Orlando, Albany, and Warren, and it exercises contracting and technical authority for Marine Corps ground weapons and information technology systems.
It does not run a standalone open grant program. Small-business R&D reaches Marine Corps users through Navy SBIR and STTR, the ONR Long-Range BAA with a Marine Corps Warfighting Lab track, and the Navy Catapult transition path, while routine procurement moves through SAM.gov and SeaPort-NxG. The attached routes carry expected award levels from about USD 140,000 for Phase I to roughly USD 1.7 million for Phase II, with Catapult transitions reaching about USD 13 million.
The command is built for fielding and sustainment rather than grant administration. Its FY26 SBIR schedule uses monthly DoD release cycles, and Release 1 included a single Marine Corps topic on Amphibious Combat Vehicle maneuver improvements. Teams that already understand Marine Corps procurement, transition planning, and mission fit will read this channel best.
