CIF funding is open to NC State faculty, PhD students, or postdocs pursuing commercialisation of NC State-owned intellectual property, provided a named NC State Principal Investigator can accept and manage the award. The underlying technology must have an invention disclosure on file and must not already be licensed, optioned, or otherwise encumbered in the same field of use.
