The programme funds SME-led consortium projects developing innovative civil-security solutions, spanning protection of critical infrastructure, crime and terrorism prevention, disaster and population protection, and technologies such as robotics or hazardous-substance detection. Projects must build on real end-user needs and push clearly beyond the current state of the art.
