Grønnere EUD (Greener Vocational Education) 2026 is a Villum Foundation grant programme supporting Danish vocational schools in developing green curriculum, teaching, and partnerships. The programme targets schools offering programmes in two sector groups: technology, construction, and transport; and food, agriculture, and experiences. A total pool of DKK 50 million is available, with individual grants of up to DKK 8 million over a project period of up to five years. The application deadline is 17 August 2026 at 14:00.

Eligible costs include developing specialised green programme lines and teaching modules, teacher competency development (including substitute coverage), collaboration expenses with trade committees and companies, project management, equipment, and minor renovations. Travel costs, major construction, and commercial business operations are explicitly excluded. The Villum Foundation views favourably applications from multiple schools working in consortia alongside trade committees, knowledge centres, and companies. All applicants must include a plan for disseminating project learnings and products to other vocational schools and sector actors.

The application page is Danish-language only; all materials must be submitted in Danish. Applicants planning to apply should build cross-sector partnerships early, since consortium applications are explicitly encouraged. A realistic dissemination plan covering how green methods will spread beyond the applying school or group of schools is a required element of every submission and is treated as a substantive evaluation criterion.

Green curriculum development, teacher training, and cross-sector collaboration at Danish vocational schools in the technology/construction/transport and food/agriculture/experiences sectors.
