Runs a free, equity-free pre-accelerator for early-stage innovators across emerging Europe, with EUR150,000 in cash prizes for cohort and regional winners.

Each of the eight cohorts is run by a different EIT Knowledge and Innovation Community: Healthcare by EIT Health, Food & Agritech by EIT Food, the raw-materials cohort by EIT RawMaterials, Energy and Renewables by EIT InnoEnergy, Advanced and Green Manufacturing by EIT Manufacturing, Smart Cities and Mobility by EIT Urban Mobility, New European Bauhaus by EIT Culture & Creativity, and Rebuild Ukra

EIT Jumpstarter looks for innovative early-stage ideas from individuals and teams in more than 27 European countries and territories, with a special focus on Central, Eastern and Southern Europe, the Western Balkans, the Mediterranean and the EU Outermost Regions. It runs eight thematic cohorts -- healthcare, food and agritech, raw materials, energy, manufacturing, smart cities and mobility, New European Bauhaus, and Rebuild Ukraine -- each curated by a different EIT Knowledge and Innovation Community.
