Horizon Arts and Innovation Collaborations
Funds three €4.5–5M projects using art-science-technology collaborations to tackle complex challenges, build soft skills or test emerging technologies.
Artistic research can open new ways to solve complex problems. This topic funds collaborations between artists, researchers, technologists and creative organisations that make those links useful to society, policy and innovation. Projects should gather evidence, build networks, and publish practical guidance, toolkits and methods for measuring results.
Choose one route. Focus 1 develops and tests…
Research and Innovation Action projects that use art-science-technology collaboration to address societal challenges and strengthen innovation. Projects gather evidence, build networks, and produce guidance, toolkits and methods to assess impact. They choose either Focus 1, which develops and tests arts-based approaches to strengthen soft skills, or Focus 2, which demonstrates artists' contribution in interdisciplinary teams through at least three low-technology-readiness-level pilots on emerging technologies. Consortia include artists and creative-industry representatives.
