A Research and Innovation Action on future-proofing sustainable cultural tourism amid technological, social, environmental and climate change. Proposals must choose either Focus 1, on ethical AI integration and AI-assisted strategic foresight, or Focus 2, on community-centred sustainable tourism in emerging and less-developed destinations. All proposals should develop evidence-based policy and practice, engage communities and stakeholders, address inclusion and gender equality, support workforce skills and conditions, connect research to policy, and establish continuous knowledge exchange.
