Horizon Euratom: Nuclear Skills & Training Network
Funds one project to build an EU-wide nuclear training and mobility network, with a shared education website and an AI-in-education safety pilot.
Europe's nuclear sector needs skilled people — in nuclear safety, security, safeguards, radioactive waste management and radiation protection — and that pipeline currently runs through separate national programmes with no shared front door. This topic funds one project to build that missing EU-wide layer: a coordinated education and training network, not a new national programme.

Coordination and Support Action money for building and running a pan-European nuclear education and training network: recruiting and training people into nuclear safety, security, safeguards, radioactive waste management and radiation protection careers; running an EU-wide mobility scheme; evaluating and piloting safe use of AI, including large language models, in nuclear education; and building one shared website for nuclear education and training opportunities across Europe. It doesn't fund nuclear engineering R&D, new reactor technology, or waste-management technology — the money goes to coordinating, training and career-building activity on top of existing national programmes.
