Funds antibacterial and antifungal therapies that expand treatment options against antimicrobial-resistant infections.
Antimicrobial resistance makes infections harder to treat and increases illness, costs and mortality. This Research and Innovation Action advances therapeutic candidates against one specified resistant bacterial or fungal pathogen, strengthening the EU medical-countermeasures and One Health ecosystem.

Develop innovative antibacterial or antifungal agents, including antibody-based therapies, against exactly one permitted pathogen: CRAB; CRE/C3GRE; carbapenem-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa; MRSA; drug-resistant Aspergillus fumigatus; or drug-resistant Candida spp. Meet at least one WHO innovation criterion, complete required preclinical and clinical work, manufacture under GMP and establish a regulatory pathway.
