Automated Scientific Discovery – Food (RAISE pilot)
Funds a pilot lab where AI and automation run safer, faster and more reproducible food-science experiments.
The project should retrofit an existing advanced laboratory with semi- or fully autonomous scientific experimentation, while keeping people responsible for safety, ethics and scientific judgment. It should deliver a functional demonstrator with secure data collection, storage, processing and sharing; interoperable standards and protocols; real-time analytics; intuitive human-machine interaction; a…
This Research and Innovation Action develops a trustworthy intelligence layer for highly automated and digitalised laboratories working on food science. The system should integrate AI-driven planning, laboratory instruments and robotics, data infrastructure and human oversight so experiments can be planned, executed and analysed in a closed loop without a complete laboratory rebuild.
