Torres Quevedo Program

Funds Spanish companies hiring a PhD researcher to lead an in-house R&D project.

Torres Quevedo pays a Spanish company part of the salary and social security costs of a PhD, technologist, or researcher it hires to lead a three-year in-house R&D project, up to EUR 55,000 a year. The specific candidate has to already hold a PhD and be named in the application; a candidate who is still working toward the doctorate fits the separate Industrial Doctorates program instead, not this

Torres Quevedo backs companies that want to hire a PhD, technologist or researcher to lead a three-year R&D project inside the business. It's aimed at companies with a clear, already-defined R&D project rather than an idea still being shaped, and the named PhD candidate must be identified before applying.
