Deep Tech Pioneers Program — Membership

Administers development partnerships and mentorship support for deep-tech small and medium-sized enterprises.

The Deep Tech Pioneers program is Hello Tomorrow's year-round community membership for early-stage deep-tech startups worldwide. Applications are free and open continuously, with evaluations conducted in monthly batches and decisions communicated to applicants within approximately two months of submission. There are no fixed deadlines and no application fee. The program is operated by Hello Tomorrow, the Paris-based deep-tech organization that also runs the annual Global Challenge competition.

Membership provides four categories of benefit: visibility through inclusion in Hello Tomorrow's startup database, exhibition at the annual Global Summit, and potential media and speaking opportunities; funding access through direct investor exposure, participation in Hello Tomorrow's Investor Day, and a complimentary first-year Summit ticket; automatic eligibility for the annual Hello Tomorrow Global Challenge, which awards up to €100,000 in equity-free prize money to winning startups across 15 technology tracks; and growth resources including expert advisory access, monthly business opportunity listings, and job posting features. The program itself does not disburse cash — the monetary opportunity flows through Global Challenge participation.

Eligibility mirrors that of the Global Challenge: startups must have at least two team members, must be in early-stage development or beginning commercialization, must be built on new technology, scientific discovery, or complex engineering addressing unmet industrial, societal, or environmental needs, and must not be a subsidiary of an existing company. There are no country-of-incorporation restrictions. Given the rolling, no-cost structure, deep-tech startups building for impact in sectors such as biotech, climate, energy, aerospace, advanced materials, or robotics should apply as early as possible to access investor introductions and Summit programming ahead of the annual Global Challenge window.
