Innovative Advanced Materials for fast-curing sealants and coatings
Funds around five projects, each worth up to EUR 6 million, to develop fast-curing, recyclable coatings and sealants for manufacturing lines.
This is a two-stage, blind-evaluated Horizon Europe Innovation Action. A short first-stage proposal, which must not name the applicant organisation, acronym, logo or personnel, is screened before shortlisted teams alone are invited to submit a full second-stage proposal; award costs are calculated as a lump sum. The Commission wants new coatings, functionalised surfaces and sealants that protect products across sectors β electronics, energy, automotive, aviation, construction β while curing faster and remaining recyclable at end of life. Proposals should cut curing times by at least 90 percent compared with current methods.
