Web 4.0 architectural framework and Open Internet Stack applications for virtual worlds
Pays three European projects between EUR 2.8 million and EUR 8.4 million each to build an open-source Web 4.0 architecture or decentralised virtual-world applications, with only one winner allowed in the architecture track.
Third-party funding caps differ by area: consortia in the Architectural Framework track can pass up to 70% of their funding to outside open-source contributors, while the Applications track is capped at 20%, both paid out through open calls with a maximum of EUR 300,000 per third party.
