Support to the BRIDGE initiative
Pays one coordination project up to EUR 1 million to run the day-to-day organisation, reporting and outreach of the EU's BRIDGE smart-grid and energy-storage project network.

The Commission wants a Coordination and Support Action to keep the BRIDGE initiative running -- the network that connects Horizon-funded Smart Grids, Energy Storage, Islands and Digitalisation projects so they can share lessons and speak with one voice to policymakers. Proposals should provide logistical support to BRIDGE's working groups, maintain its member database and website, publish its annual reports and brochures, and organise its annual General Assembly. The role also covers feeding structured information on smart-energy technology progress to the European Commission (mainly DG Energy), coordinating with the related ETIP SNET initiative, and representing BRIDGE at outside events such as European Sustainable Energy Week.
