The Commission wants open-source tools for managing shared energy community assets, forecasting consumption and production with AI, and a cooperation platform linking prosumers, energy communities, aggregators and distribution system operators. It wants the tools built on common IoT and data standards such as SGAM and IEC CIM, with tailored security for the devices involved.
