The Commission wants cost-effective tools to measure, monitor and model air pollution — both already-regulated pollutants like PM2.5 and NO2, and emerging ones like ultra-fine particles and black carbon — to support the EU's revised Ambient Air Quality Directive. It's looking for projects that improve measurement accuracy, real-time monitoring, and public access to air-quality information, especially for vulnerable groups.
