This call funds development of existing antibody or antibody-derived protein candidates against at least one of a named list of epidemic-potential viruses (including Lassa, Hantaan, Andes, Sin Nombre, Variola major, Hendra, Nipah and Venezuelan equine encephalitis). Proposals must run in vitro and in vivo preclinical studies, produce GMP-quality test batches in the EU or EEA, and carry out first-in-human clinical safety studies with a clear regulatory pathway toward market authorisation.
