This call funds a pilot network of excellent European research labs applying AI to agricultural science and environmental pollution science, as part of the wider Resource for AI Science in Europe (RAISE) initiative. It wants a consortium of leading labs, at least half with a proven record building AI solutions for scientific research, to set a shared strategic research agenda and tackle major scientific challenges together. It also expects the network to share data, models and infrastructure with sibling RAISE networks and to build collaborations with industry to take up its scientific results.
