IC Taiwan Grand Challenge
Awards a $30,000 cash prize to startups collaborating with Taiwan's chip industry.
Applicants first submit a concept paper for an initial review; it needs to cover the startup's core technology, what has been solved or verified about it so far, the business model being developed, and plans for market expansion. The Challenge looks for IC-design-driven innovation across five areas: Smart Data & AI, Smart Mobility, Smart Manufacturing, Smart Medtech, and Sustainability. It's open to startups established within the last 8 years, legal entities, academic research teams and individuals willing to collaborate with Taiwan's semiconductor design and manufacturing industry.
