The SEAI Non-Domestic Microgen Grant provides grant aid toward solar PV installations for businesses and other non-domestic organisations. It supports on-site electricity generation that reduces commercial electricity costs, improves security of supply, and cuts emissions.

Businesses, farms, public sector bodies, schools, community centres, and non-profit societies can apply. SEAI states that systems up to 1000 kWp can be grant funded, with example grants from EUR 900 for 1 kWp to a maximum grant value of EUR 162,600 for 1000 kWp.

Applicants must choose a registered SEAI non-domestic microgen solar PV company, apply to SEAI for a grant offer, wait for the letter of offer before works start, and complete installation and documentation before payment.

Solar photovoltaic systems for business, farm, school, community, public-sector, and nonprofit sites, including systems from 1 kWp up to 1000 kWp.
