The Mission funds medical devices and in-vitro diagnostics -- including diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, implants and assistive devices, consumables, surgical tools, software as a medical device, and critical subcomponents -- that already have a working, tested prototype. Therapeutics, vaccines, and broader digital-health tools aimed at wellness, lifestyle or administration fall outside the current call. Where a project seeks direct financial support as a private-sector company, priority sits with technologies addressing communicable diseases and women's and children's health and nutrition.
