iCreate Drone Challenge 2025
Pays for India's fastest, strongest and most enduring drone prototypes with ₹2 crore.
Every participant, not just the eventual winners, gets access to iCreate's fabrication and testing facilities during the challenge, along with mentorship from industry experts, policymakers and technologists working on India's drone sector. Winners then move on to iCreate's own prototyping labs, a further round of expert mentorship, and a shared funding pool of ₹2 crore split across the challenge.…
Aerial Excellence splits into three separate themes: a Speed Challenge chasing the standing drone speed record of 263.1 km/h, a Payload Challenge chasing the standing lift record of 101 kilograms, and an Endurance Challenge chasing a flight-time benchmark of around four hours and forty minutes. Component Indigenisation instead targets critical drone parts built domestically, from flight controllers to propulsion systems, to cut reliance on imported components. Working prototypes from either track are expected to become functional, high-performance drones for defence, logistics, disaster response and sustainability use cases.
