DISC 12 Re-Open — Inflight Urination Device for Female Fighter Pilots
Funds Indian innovators up to Rs. 1.5 crore to build a female-pilot inflight urination device.
The challenge runs under India's Innovations for Defence Excellence program, administered by the Defence Innovation Organisation, Ministry of Defence. Interested applicants submit a proposal by the stated timeline, and the selected team receives a grant of up to Rs. 1.5 crore to develop and demonstrate the device.
iDEX DISC 12 Re-Open is looking for a solution to one problem statement from the Air Force Medical Services: an inflight urination device usable by female fighter pilots. It's open to Indian MSMEs, startups and individual innovators able to design and demonstrate the device.
