Pfizer INDovation looks for Indian MedTech startups building affordable, scalable and patentable technology for screening, diagnosis, monitoring or treatment, across five priority areas: non-communicable diseases, oncology, brain health, maternal and child health, and immunisation. Example problem statements include point-of-care screening tools usable by less-skilled health workers, early cancer detection and monitoring tools comparable to gold-standard results, neurological and mental-health screening for early intervention, tools for detecting high-risk pregnancies and neonatal complications, and energy-efficient vaccine storage or cold-chain monitoring for last-mile delivery.
