The Justice Programme wants projects that make judicial cooperation between EU countries work better in both civil and criminal matters, and that support the rule of law, judicial independence and more effective enforcement of court decisions. For 2026 there are three priorities: cooperation on civil-law cases, cooperation on criminal-law cases, and help for Member States setting up or strengthening national networks of judicial-cooperation practitioners.
