Applicants submit a Standard Application Form (LIFE TA PP) through the Portal by the single-stage deadline. The topic carries a modest indicative EUR 500,000 2026 budget for this preparatory work, separate from the actual SNaP implementation funding.
The Commission funds technical assistance to prepare a proposal for a Strategic Nature Project (SNaP) — covering a Priority Action Framework, National Restoration Plan, or other strategy implementing EU nature and biodiversity law at international, national, regional or multiregional level. It wants proposals at a large territorial scale, with all concerned stakeholders involved and a coordination mechanism for the wider funding needed to implement the plan.
