Mayor's Innovation Challenge
Gives Kingston post-secondary students up to $10,000 cash or a startup-program place through two pitch-competition prize streams for projects that improve city life or municipal services.

The Mayor's Innovation Challenge is open to individuals or teams of current and recently graduated students from Kingston's major post-secondary institutions. Proposals must contribute to quality of life for residents or leverage technology to improve municipal service delivery. The challenge runs as two separate streams, each with its own prize; a student picks one of the two to enter, not both.
