The Society funds roughly a dozen of these fellowships each year: its published current cohort lists twelve named fellows, each paired with a mentor at a specific US academic medical centre. The fellowship trains board eligible or certified neurologists in specialized multiple sclerosis clinical care, for residents planning to spend most of their time in adult or pediatric MS care. Residents whose career plans include under-resourced populations or rural areas are especially encouraged to apply.
