SFF supports organisations concerned with the long-term survival and flourishing of sentient life, funding recipients across AI safety, biosecurity, existential-risk research, science and policy nonprofits, and related research groups. Its philanthropic priorities are guided by its Funders (chiefly Jaan Tallinn) but assessors can and do fund proposals outside those stated priority areas.
