Yale Innovators Prize
Awards a $25,000 cash prize to the most creative Yale venture with no other fitting prize.
Entrants are judged on opportunity, innovation, team strength, sustainability and catalytic potential, viability, and impact. The prize is presented each year at the Startup Yale event, alongside a separate Audience Choice award decided by attendees.
Looking for for-profit or non-profit ventures and projects from the Yale community with the potential to produce the most creative or impactful solution to a real-world problem. Meant to catch strong ideas that don't qualify for any of the other Startup Yale prizes. The prize is meant to generate ideas that are scalable, achievable, quantifiable and financeable, and to teach entrepreneurs how to turn an idea into a working startup.
