Joules Accelerator is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit startup accelerator founded in 2012 and headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, established with direct support from Jim Rogers, former Duke Energy CEO. It is described as the oldest grid and energy accelerator in the Southeast US. Programs are philanthropically funded and offered to startups at no charge; Ryan Rutledge is Executive Director.
