Mission Climate-Neutral City — TIKS (Mission Klimaneutrale Stadt — TIKS)
Funds urban climate innovation pilots in Austria for climate-neutral city transitions.
Mission Klimaneutrale Stadt — TIKS 2026 is Klimafonds’ 2026 flagship call under the Mission Klimaneutrale Stadt framework and is co-funded with BMIMI for urban climate innovation. The call runs from 2026-05-13 to 2026-10-01 and has a €20 million total envelope. It covers urban technologies, urban system innovation, pilot demonstrations, and serial or modular retrofitting approaches. The route is split operationally by delivery track: R&D applications are managed via FFG eCall and deployment/investment support is managed by KPC. The strongest proposals align technical concept with city-scale deployment and can show realistic implementation pathways through the available urban track structure.
Each grant below is a distinct funding opportunity with its own eligibility, scope, and deliverables.
