Screen NSW's Strategic Opportunities Program supports organisations in the NSW screen and digital games industries to grow capacity and capability. Grants range from $5,000 to $50,000 and are non-competitive — each application is evaluated individually against four strategic priorities from the NSW Screen & Digital Games Strategy 2025-2027: Creating Stories, Building Sustainable Growth, Improving Capacity and Capability, and Developing Audiences. Applicants must discuss their project with Screen NSW staff before submitting. Assessment includes initial eligibility screening within 14 days, followed by evaluation by a panel of Screen NSW staff and external industry evaluators. Applications via SmartyGrants only.
