Queensland State GovernmentQueenslandGrantEquityGrant + Equity

The Critical Minerals and Battery Technology Fund provides grants of up to $2 million and equity investments of up to $30 million for critical minerals and battery technology projects located in Queensland. The fund is jointly administered by Queensland Investment Corporation (QIC) and the Department of Natural Resources and Mines, Manufacturing and Regional and Rural Development (NRMMRRD). The fund closes 30 June 2027. This program sits within the broader Queensland Jobs Fund umbrella. The blended grant-plus-equity instrument reflects the fund's dual-track approach: smaller grant tranches for early-stage projects and larger equity stakes for commercial-scale ventures.
