FED-tWIN funds joint post-doctoral researcher positions split between one of Belgium's ten Federal Scientific Institutions (FSIs) and one of eleven Belgian universities. BELSPO provides full funding for the initial five years of each position, plus 50% funding for the subsequent five years, with selection by international peer review. Five batches were awarded 2019-2024 for a total of 125 profiles. No 2026 batch has been announced as of May 2026.
