Joint R&D Call (JRDIC)
Offers thematic funding collaborative innovation work between Brussels academia and industry with rotating themes.
The Joint R&D Call (JRDIC, formerly BRIDGE call) is Innoviris's annual thematic academia-industry co-funding programme. Each year a different theme is set; the 2026 theme was Cleantech. Consortia must include at least one Brussels research organisation and at least one Brussels company, with effort balanced 1/3 academia to 2/3 industry. Funding rates: 40% for large enterprises, 50% for medium, 60% for micro/small, 100% for research organisations. Project duration is 1.5 to 3 years. The call runs two phases: outline then full proposal. The 2026 cycle is closed; 2027 resumption is conditional on budget.
