Prospective Research Brussels (PRB) funds academic research addressing societal challenges and urban futures in the Brussels-Capital Region, with explicit focus on participatory methods, alternatives to current systems, and regional policy relevance. Teams must be multidisciplinary; the lead researcher must hold at least a Master's degree and be supervised by a professor or accredited researcher. Projects run for up to 3 years plus a 3-month valorization phase. Submissions are via the research institution's Tech Transfer Office. The 2026 cycle deadline was 15 October 2025 (now closed). 2027 resumption is conditional on budget.
