Innosuisse Swiss Accelerator

Funds Swiss market-ready small and medium companies through Innosuisse Swiss Accelerator with support for commercialization and growth-ready innovation.

The Swiss Accelerator supports projects by Swiss SMEs and start-ups that have already entered the market and are carrying out innovation projects with above-average innovation potential. The aim is to commercialise new and innovative products and services quickly and effectively. Unlike the Innovation Projects programme, Swiss Accelerator is aimed exclusively at individual Swiss SMEs and start-ups (not consortia) and does not require an academic partner. Applicants must be Swiss-headquartered, registered in the Swiss registry of commerce, already producing and selling a product/service, and employ less than 250 full-time equivalents (group-wide if part of a group). Innosuisse funds up to 70% of eligible project costs (the company bears at least 30%), with funding capped at CHF 2.5M per application. Applications go through a three-stage process: short application → invitation to full application → application presentation to a jury of experts and Innovation Council members. IMPORTANT (as of 2026-05-15): No call for projects under the Swiss Accelerator is currently planned. With the activation of the transitional arrangement as of 1 January 2025, Swiss companies can fully participate as beneficiaries in the EIC Accelerator under Horizon Europe. The Swiss Accelerator was conceived as a transitional measure for Horizon Europe and is presently paused.

Each grant below is a distinct funding opportunity with its own eligibility, scope, and deliverables.
