Shanghai Pujiang Talent Plan

Funds the Pujiang Talent Plan , initiated in attracts Chinese scholars who have studied or worked abroad to return and work.

The Pujiang Talent Plan (浦江人才计划), initiated in 2005, attracts Chinese scholars who have studied or worked abroad (including HK/Macau/Taiwan) to return and work full-time in Shanghai. Co-administered by STCSM and the Shanghai HR & Social Security Bureau. Type A (R&D): CNY 300,000 over 24 months, for PhD holders with ≥2 years abroad. Type C (Social Sciences): CNY 150,000 per person for PhD or master+senior title holders with ≥1 year abroad. Applicants must be under 45, and commit to ≥9 months/year in China. Applications go via Shanghai-registered host institution.
