Investment Incentive — Business Support Service Centres

Provides support for software, data, and service centres serving international markets and regional jobs.

The Business Support Service Centres incentive is CzechInvest's route for software development centres, data centres, shared services centres, and high-tech repair centres. It sits in the same Act No. 72/2000 Coll. framework, with CzechInvest handling intake and the Ministry of Industry and Trade issuing the formal incentive. The services must be delivered across at least three countries, and the job threshold starts at 10 positions for small software-development projects and rises to 20 for large ones. Support is usually 10-year corporate income tax relief at up to 60% for small companies, 50% for medium companies, and 40% for large companies, plus a cash grant of up to 20% of eligible costs for strategic high-tech repair centres. This route is best for cross-border service operations that can show a real operating footprint rather than a paper entity. Applicants do well when the project has a clear service model, multi-country delivery, and enough staffing to clear the job threshold at the same time.
