NPO — Industrial Water Savings (Úspory vody v průmyslu)
Funds water-efficiency upgrades in Czech industry through a grant for practical reuse and conservation actions.
NPO — Úspory vody v průmyslu is the Czech recovery-plan track for industrial water conservation. It supports sustainable water management and circular-economy measures in industrial operations, and it is financed through the EU Recovery and Resilience Facility under NPO component 2.7, circular economy. The program is run by MPO and is aimed at industrial enterprises rather than general-purpose applicants. The instrument is a grant. The second call had a budget pool of 150 million CZK, with project awards from 500,000 to 10 million CZK and a 40 percent support intensity, which leaves applicants covering the remaining 60 percent. Industrial enterprises of any size can apply, and the structure is written in Czech-language documentation. At least two call cycles have already been issued, and a third remains possible before the recovery-plan closure deadline of 31 August 2026. The best applications are practical water-saving projects that reduce consumption, improve reuse, or tighten industrial water handling in a way that can be measured. Larger plants and smaller industrial firms are treated alike on the support-intensity side, so the question is less about size than about how clearly the project reduces water use and fits the circular-economy frame. The program suits applicants that can move quickly when a call opens and document a concrete operational gain.
