TWIST is MPO's national R&D program for strategic technologies in Czechia. Its remit covers artificial intelligence, quantum technologies, and semiconductors or microelectronics, and it is a national-funds program rather than an EU structural-funds route. The program runs from 2025 to 2031 with a total budget of 5 billion CZK, and annual public calls are planned through that period.
